Dr. Ko pointed out that to meet various high-specification display demands, such as those that transcend time and space and span across different fields, future AI end-use devices will require more interconnected display interfaces. In this context, Micro LED advanced display technology will become the ultimate weapon dominating AI applications. Dr. Ko stated that Micro LED display technology, with its high-definition transparency, seamless large-scale tiling, and flexible form factors, combined with AI capabilities, is expanding Micro LED applications from high-end displays to multi-layered hardware and software integrated solutions in mobile, retail, medical, entertainment, education, and AI optical communication. This will bring new growth momentum to the industry. AUO has been proactively investing in Micro LED display technology for many years, achieving significant breakthroughs and innovations.
